The Main Program

  • As a result of cooperation with the "Dialogue of Cultures" organization within the framework of the EPIC project, it was decided to establish the IllustraArt platform, which will unite artists and art lovers, and will become a bonding platform for different genres of art. This is an unprecedented course subject, which includes the teaching of such rare subjects as art therapy, linography, calligraphy, as well as traditional disciplines - art history, the art of landscapes and graphics.

The course mainly includes practical classes: plein air painting, thematic excursions, exhibitions. Auditor lectures will be relatively few, and they will be introductory in relation to practical exercises.

The course includes the following training projects:

Project 1 - A brochure of the Armenian alphabet, made using miniature technology. Students will prepare small alphabet letters, which will be illustrated and decorated with symbolic images in accordance with standards of miniature art and calligraphy.

Project 2 - Graffiti of Tsaghkadzor: On the project closure day, the ceremony of opening of the “graffiti of Tsakhkadzor”, prepared by joint efforts of lecturers and students, will be held.

Project 3 - Exhibition of works: All the art works created during the course will be presented at an open-air exhibition. Catalogs will be prepared, which will include all the works exhibited.
